The Salvation Army would like to thank the local community for all of their support so far with donations to the Emergency Food Bank, set-up to help those who are self-isolating or struggling due to job losses and having children at home who would usually be receiving free school meals.
They've now issued a request for certain stock which is at low levels:
Low - baked beans, soup, carrots, tinned fruit, tinned meats, pulses, biscuits.
Critical - coffee, squash, jam, pasta, rice, tomatoes, custard, UHT milk, toothpaste, shampoo.
Donations can be dropped at The Salvation Army on Goswell Road on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (except Good Friday) from 10am-1pm.
To comply with current Government advice, please leave any donations on the table by the front door.
